Delivering a sustainable event

BioRegional have been working with the event managers Fortesqueue’s to build on their own work to reduce their environmental footprint not just for our event but through all their operations. This included running a Sustainability Action Plan workshop with Fortesqueue’s.  Solutions found to date include providing local sourced, low dairy food and providing tap instead of bottled mineral water, maximising public transport and cycling links, recycling all possible waste, reuse of carpet tiles, improved heat delivery systems and sourcing lower carbon energy.  Fortesqueue’s are keen to continue managing and improving their environmental performance.
